Solcoseryl
Solcoseryl contains standardized and free protein extract of young calf blood that expresses metabolic function in the tissue.
Solcoseryl enhances regenerative and reparative processes, contributes to activation of aerobic metabolic processes and oxidative phosphorylation, increases oxygen intake and stimulates the transport of glucose into the cells.
Socloseryl indications:
Solcoseryl gel and ointment are prescribed to treat:
- Radiation dermatitis
- Trauma(wounds)
- Badly healing wounds
- Bed sores
- Chemical and thermal burns
- Freezings
Solcoseryl injectable solution is used in:
- Chronic venous insufficiency manifested in trophic disorders.
- Occlusive peripheral vascular diseases in Fontaine stage 2 or 3
Solcoseryl dental paste is indicated to treat:
- Wound – tissue healing after dental extraction.
- Painful sensation in the mouth cavity
- Gingivitis
- Angular stomatitis
- Herpes simplex
- Periodontitis
When taking Solcoseryl the following side effects may occur:
Allergic reactions: hives, fever
Local reactions: hyperemia, edema at injection place.
In patients with allergic reactions the medication can cause anaphylactic shock (in very rare cases).

Solcoseryl should not be taken in the following cases:
- Children and adolescents under 18 years of age
- Pregnancy
- Breastfeeding
- Known sensitivity reactions to any of the medication ingredients
- Hypersensitivity to E216, E218, E210 food additives
The medication should be used with caution in: high sodium blood levels, kidney failure, disorders of the heart rhythm, concomitant use of the sodium and potassium containing drugs and supplements, oliguria, anuria, pulmonary edema, severe heart failure.
